Joanne A. McMahan

Joanne A. McMahan, 90, of Greensburg, died peacefully at home Monday, February 7, 2022. She was born January 11, 1932, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Albert and Helen Anderson. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Greensburg. She was also a member of Junior Women’s Club and several card clubs. Joanne was an avid Steelers fan and was also an avid bowler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. McMahan; infant daughter, Roberta Lee; infant son, John David; and her brother, Ted Anderson. She is survived by three children, James Michael McMahan (Patricia), Scott McMahan (Michele), and Lisa Jo Funk (Richard); four grandchildren, Ashley Johnson (Jeremiah), Derek McMahan (Chelsey), Kara Kanak (Frank), and Tylor Heathcock (Cameron); five great-grandchildren, Noah, Aubrey, Brody, Bristol, and Sylvie; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Paul Gruesu officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
