Joella Crase

Joella Crase, age 91, of Canal Winchester, OH passed away July 11, 2021. She was born January 27, 1930 in Ivan, KY to the late Irvin and Dessie Amburgey. She loved crafts, cooking, sewing, bird watching, animal watching, walking and the summer months. Joella enjoyed spending time with her friends and maintained a close relationship. She spent many summers traveling out west in her family travel trailer and saw most of the states. Early in her career she was an avid Avon representative and enjoyed selling and talking with people.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Crase; son, Roy Daniel Crase; sister, Clara Hall; and brothers, Benett Amburgey and Rudean Amburgey. She is survived by her two sons, Gregory Crase and Zachary Crase; daughter-in-law, Marie Crase; siblings, Paul Amburgey, Tim Amburgey, Rosetta Mullins, Shirlie Smith, Virginia Dixon, Felecia Nickles and Elaine Holland. Family and friends may visit 10-11:00am on Friday, July 16, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am.
