John D. Orrell

John D. Orrell, 75, of North Huntingdon died Thursday March 17, 2022 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born June 11, 1946, in McKeesport a son of the late John and Dorothy (Sheetz) Orrell. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a truck driver for North Huntingdon Township. He was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ, in Larimer; also, a member of the Norwin Lions and Rescue 8. He was a veteran of the Army having service during the Korean War. Surviving is a son John D. Orrell Jr. of North Huntingdon; a sister Joyce Gasper and her late husband, Bernie, of North Versailles. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park North Huntingdon.
