John H. Milsom, Jr.

John “Jack” H. Milsom Jr. 89, of Cabot, formerly of Markle, died Monday May 2, 2022 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Arnold on September 14, 1932 to the late John H. Sr. and Elizabeth R. Michael Milsom. Mr. Milsom was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He worked as a senior technician for ALCOA for 36 years until retiring in 1993. His happiest hours were spent on his tractor baling hay while he worked as a cattle farmer at his 100 acre farm in Markle where he lived for 79 years. He was a Penn State graduate where he played on the football team. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Marlene Beatty Milsom, son John Andrew Milsom of Tucson, AZ, and two daughters Amy S. Milsom of Boone, NC., and Joi M. Milsom of Corvallis, MT.
