John Mauger
June 28, 1941 - August 25, 2024 (Age 83)
On August 25th. 2024, Heavan gained another loving angel.
John Mauger passed away after a long illness. He was 83. Son of the late Leonard & Ada (Trout) Mauger, "Jack" as he was affectionately known by friends and family, was born & raised in Pottstown
After graduating from Pottstown High School in 1959, he enlisted in the Army from 1959 to 1962.
He met the love of his life, Joanne Undercoffler & they were married for 60 years.
He was employed as a mailman and retired from the Pottstown Post Office after 36 years.
He loved Tennis & bowling and was an avid stamp & coin collector.
Surviving with his wife are children Debbie, John (Shelia), Chris (Tiffany), grandson Dylan and sister in law Rose. He was predeceased by brothers, Daniel Mauger & Arley Wadsworth, & sister Mildred Weller.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. There will be a viewing from Noon until 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pottstown.
