John E. Rule, 71, of Greensburg, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born July 14, 1951, in Greensburg, a son of the late Percy B. and Vivian (Hallberg) Rule. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Robertshaw Controls and St. Gobain. He was a member of the 49ers Club in Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brothers, Robert Rule and James Rule; a step-daughter, Anita Evans; and a step-grandson, Phillip Evans. He is survived by his wife, Winona L. “Winnie” (Stickel) Rule; his step- children, Robert Mancini, Stephen Mancini (Leanndra), and Debra Mancini; seven step-grandchildren, Sam Palmieri (Kate), William Palmieri (Tina), Shelby Mancini, Morgan Mancini, Stephen Mancini, Anthony Mancini and Leanita Mancini; eight great-grandchildren; his sisters, Rebecca Bold (Paul) and Linda (Anderson) Walling; several sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. All services were private. Entombment took place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park
