John Shusteric Sr.

John D. Shusteric Sr., age 86, of Penn Township, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. He was born on September 16, 1937 in Wilmerding, to Andrew Shusteric and Florence Klinger.

John is preceded in death by his beloved spouse of 69 years, Joann E. Shusteric; loving children, Valerie (the late Nels, Sr.) Nelson, John (Kathy) Shusteric, Jr., Vickie (John) Sharpe, Anthony (Dayna) Shusteric, Lorie (Bob) Gaston, and Michael (Chrystie) Shusteric; and was blessed with many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother of Mary Jane (the late Rudy) Bayko and the late Lorraine Sigmund.

John loved to spend his time golfing and going to the casino. He was a member of the VFW 781 in North Huntingdon. John was very dedicated to supporting his family and providing for them. He was such hard working man who was devoted to taking care of his family of 8. John was always there to support his family and was very passionate about showing up for his son, Michael's band; Twisted Fate. He enjoyed making memories and spending time will all his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be private and arrangements are entrusted to Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
