John Sprung, 83, of Greensburg, died peacefully June 25, 2022. He was born September 10, 1938 in Greensburg, a son of the late Laura Ruth (Truxal) and Kenneth Alfred Sprung. He was a proud self-employed contractor for over 47 years, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, cruising with his wife and friends, and shenanigans with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by wife, Joyce Marie (Lucas), son John Jr., and siblings Euguene, Dorothy, Ruth Ann, and Richard.
He leaves behind two children, Theodore E. 'Butch' Sprung and wife, Dianne, of Greensburg, and Terri L. Walton, of Greensburg; daughter-in-law, Melanie Sprung, of Latrobe; grandchildren, April (Bryan) Caldwell, Matthew (Alison) Sprung, Marissa Sprung, Justin (Michelle) Walton, Marlena (Randy Kenney) Sprung, Heather (Tim) Lipinski, Rachelle (Harold) Rice, and Nick (Jessica) Walton, and 16 loved great-grandchildren.
No funeral services will be held.
