Joseph Dominic Mediate

Joseph Dominic Mediate, 84, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, December 19, 2025. Joe was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and worked as a barber for more than 65 years. He loved going out, playing golf, visiting the casino, and most especially his family and friends. He was never happier than when his family was together. Joe was preceded in death by his mother and father, his beloved wife of 57 years, Donna Mediate, and his best friend and brother, Anthony Mediate. He is survived by his sons Joseph Mediate (Stephanie) and Marc Mediate (Heather), grandchildren, Jacob, Caitlin, Camryn, and Owen, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, on Monday, December 22, from 3-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in North Huntingdon. Mass attendees should go directly to the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe’s name to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
