Joyce P. Patterson

Joyce P. Patterson, 90, of Greensburg, died Monday, December 11, 2023. She was born September 12, 1933, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Homer and Blanche Bender Prinzler. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew J. Patterson; a brother, Lt. John E. Prinzler; and a sister, Jeanne P. Erhard. Joyce is survived by her husband, Robert E. Patterson; three sons: Robert E. (Inmi) Patterson, Jr., of Berlin, Germany, James G. (Ellen) Patterson, of Newport, R.I., and Rev. John E. (Daleen) Patterson, of Longs, S.C.; a daughter, Melody (Allen) Ries, of Seattle, Wash.; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. There will be no public visitation or service. Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
