Julia E. Casper

Julia E. Casper, 96, formerly of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her daughters home in Canfield, Ohio. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Casper. Daughter of the late Maude and John Henry Weslow. She was preceded in death by sisters; Helen (Joe) Boros, Caroline (Barney) Hackett, Joan (Richard) Tamewitz, Henrietta (Patsy) Scarpone, Brother; John Weslow, Brother-in-law; Phil Meres. Julia is survived by her loving children Kathleen (Robert) Faix, Joseph (Susan) Casper, and Garey (Elaine) Casper. Cherished grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Judith Meres and sister-in-law, Annie Weslow. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 4 to 8 pm, at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100). Everyone is asked to meet at CORL at 10 am on Friday for a procession to Calvary Lutheran Church in Murrysville where an 11 am service will take place. Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in North Huntingdon Twp.
