Julius Nelson Pitts Sr., age 96, of Columbus, OH passed away June 30, 2025. He was born August 28, 1928 to the late Osbenny and Dezola Pitts in Columbus, GA.
Julius was a proud 20-year retired U.S. Air Force veteran who later retired from AT&T after another 20 years of his service.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Addie; brothers, Osbenny and Grant Pitts; and sister, Jessie Cameron. Survivors include his four children, Michaeline Davis, Madelon Stapleton, Julius Pitts Jr. and Jeffrey Pitts; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service with military honors on Thursday July 3rd at Franklin Hills Memorial Gardens.
