June A. Stremba

March 30, 1922 – February 17, 2026 (Age 103)

June (Focht) Stremba passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, at Prescott House in North Andover, Massachusetts, at the remarkable age of 103.

Born on March 30, 1922, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Carrie (Flickinger) Focht and one of six children. The values of family, resilience, and devotion that shaped her early years remained with her throughout her life.

In 1949, June and her beloved husband, Stephen Stremba, moved to Clifton, New Jersey, where they built a loving home and raised their daughter, Linda. June and Steve shared a joyful life together, filled with simple pleasures - bowling nights, tending their garden, and spending time with their cherished dog, Pepper. She especially loved a spirited game of "Kings in the Corner," a pastime that brought smiles and friendly competition to family gatherings.

After Stephen's passing, June moved to Atria Marland Place and later to Prescott House in North Andover to be closer to her daughter. Being near her family brought her comfort and happiness in her later years.

June will be remembered for her quiet strength, her steady love for her family, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Peter DeAngelo; two grandchildren Jeff DeAngelo and Brian DeAngelo two great-grandchildren; her sister, Elizabeth Smoker, and brother-in-law, Richard; as well as several nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.

There will be no wake, and a private funeral service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
