Karain Sue Thompson

Karain Sue Thompson, 64, of Frostburg, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 1, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, Miss Thompson was the daughter of the late Pauline M. (Roth) Tressler and Marvin "Chuck" Tressler.
A homemaker, Karain attended Salisbury Elk Lick High School.
She attended Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lonaconing.
Karain enjoyed her time at Cumberland Covenant House where she was able to build special bonds and friendships.
She loved cats and enjoyed coloring and painting.
She also enjoyed getting together with family and friends for meals.
Karain is survived by her siblings, Kennith Thompson, Gary Thompson and wife, Pat, Theresa Skidmore and husband, Howard, Marvin Tressler, and Taffy Tressler; her nieces and nephews, Brandy Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Gary Thompson Jr., Patrick Thompson, and Ashley Tressler; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, close friends, and extended family.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, from noon to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Schoch officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family extends a special thanks to Moran Manor and Cumberland Covenant House, especially Shari Wilson and the staff, for all the friendship, care, and compassion given to Karain.
