Lavina K. Redinger

Lavina K. “Katherine” (Eburg) Redinger, 94 of (1698 Bernice Drive) Irwin, died Tuesday April 5, 2022 at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born May 18, 1927 in Niles, OH, daughter of the late William and Rose (Crawford) Eburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Redinger and a son William D. Redinger. as well as her sister Doris Burnsworth. Kathy worked in the N.I.C.U. of McKeesport Hospital. Kathy was a fiercely independent woman and was adored by everyone that knew her. She loved music, going to the casino, traveling to Florida with her husband, but most of all, she loved her family. She was surrounded by so much love in her final days, and the light she provided to all of their lives will be missed forever. Surviving are children, James Morris and his wife Linda of North Huntingdon, Richard Morris and his wife Linda of Glassport, Janice Hurley and her husband Thomas of White Oak, Luann Guzewicz and her husband Greg, of North Huntingdon, Daniel Redinger of Greensburg. Also surviving are her 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin where a Service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.
