Kathleen Viola Carmichael

Kathleen V. Carmichael, 91 of Zanesville died at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Genesis Hospital.
She was born on Saturday, February 15, 1930 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Roy Rose and Viola Dequin Schafer.
Kathleen and her husband lived in Huntington, IN for 32 years before moving to Zanesville. She was employed at Essex wire for many years. She enjoyed competing and going to dog shows.
She is survived by her beloved dog, Precious and pet bird Timmy; the neighborhood of Licking View; and good friend John (Deena) Alford.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Arthur “Art” Carmichael.
No services will be held. Private burial will take place at Zanesville Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions can be made in Kathleen’s name to the Animal Shelter Society, Inc.
