Kathrine Glasser

Kathrine Glasser, 77, of Westerville, was born on November 1, 1947 at University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and passed away on August 15, 2025 at The Landings in Westerville. She was the daughter of Donald D. Reeser DVM and Helen M. Grant Reeser. Kathy graduated from North Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh in 1965 and California State College (Pa.) in 1969 with a B.S. degree in elementary education. She married Frederick Glasser on August 23, 1969. Following 5 years of teaching in Worthington and Minnesota, she “retired” to motherhood and being a pastor’s wife. Her children Don (1975) and Sara (1977) were born in Estherville, Iowa. After returning to Central Ohio in 1978, Kathy became an active participant in Hilliard school and athletic activities with her children. She started Sonshine Enterprises cleaning services and followed that venture with Sonshine Chef services. After moving to Westerville she started Paws and Claws pet services from which she retired in 2017. Kathy was a member of Faith Christian Center of Westerville for nearly 40 years, where she served in a number of ministries. Her favorite leisure activities included sewing and knitting, flower arranging, baking and cooking, and family dinners, especially birthdays. Her cookies and birthday cakes were legendary! Kathy was a woman of tremendous faith a prayer-warrior and intercessor, and a servant who has now received the words ”Well done!” She is loved by all and will be missed by all. Kathy is predeceased by her parents. Survivors include her husband Fred Glasser, son Donald Glasser (Tammy Darlington) of Westerville, daughter Sara Puckett (Gerry) of Lewis Center, grandchildren Sophie Glasser of Columbus, Owen Glasser of Grand Junction Colorado, and Luke and Zachary Puckett of Lewis Center, brother David Reeser of Greensboro NC, sister Susan Bowling (Joe) of Chapel Hill NC, step-mother Nancy Reeser of Colfax NC, step-brothers Jim (Valarie) and Bill (Molly) Hollister of Texas and Bob (Kristi) Hollister of NC, and numerous cousins and in-laws. A visitation for Kathrine will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. A funeral will occur Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Schoedinger Worthington. Interment will be at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Westerville on August 25, 2025, at 2:30pm.
