Kelly Lynn (Davis) Roberts, 60, of Zanesville, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 3 year battle with breast cancer. She was born December 20, 1960, the daughter of the late S. Edgel and Jean E. (Kranz) Davis. Kelly enjoyed numerous hobbies, including gardening, traveling, and was an avid genealogist. As well as being a great wife and mom, she treasured caring for many furry pet family members over the years. A hard working lady, Kelly owned and operated Y-City Cleaning Service, spent several years as a basket maker at The Longaberger Company and was employed as a food service worker at The Muskingum County Home
Kelly is survived by her husband of 41 years, Kevin Roberts; a son, Brett Roberts of Columbus; a daughter, Meghan Roberts (fiancé of Antony Dunlap) of Zanesville; a very special cousin, Nancy Kranz of Zanesville; and her cat, Norman Bates.
In addition to her parents, Kelly was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Davis Porter of Winter Haven, Florida.
As was Kelly’s request, a dignified cremation has taken place at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Crematory. Kelly will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, with a private family service at a later date.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Genesis Hospice for the loving care that Kelly received during the final stages of her cancer battle.
