Kenneth R. Mock, Sr., 82, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 03, 2025. He was born November 21, 1942, in Jeannette, a son of the late Jack A. and Ruth M. Snyder Mock.
Ken was a proud, retired school bus driver with Laidlaw, dedicating over 10 years to safely transporting students in the Greensburg Salem School District, a role he truly enjoyed and took great pride in. Ken was a veteran during the Vietnam Era, having served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion #344 in Jeannette. He was a devoted member of Christ's Church, where he faithfully served as Sexton, contributing his time and care to the life of the congregation. Ken also played an instrumental role as a manager in Volunteer Mutual Aid, proudly serving as one of its original members for 18 years. Ken had a passion for computers. In his spare time, he loved taking them apart, repairing them, and constantly expanding his knowledge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bryan and Phillip Mock.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Mary E. Heasley Mock; 2 children, Kim Crosby (Gary) of Greensburg and Kenneth R. Mock, Jr. (Angel) of Greensburg; 3 grandchildren, Mitchell Kistler (Brittany), David and Ryleigh Peters; 2 great grandchildren, Maverick and Mallory Kistler and 4 sisters, Sharon Bush (Harry) of Jeannette, Helen Loughner (Richard) of Jeannette, Elaine Mock (Eric) of Larimer, Maureen Crisman (Keith) of Wilmington, OH; two loving canine companions, Morgan and Baylee and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of Kenneth will be received on Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday June 06, 2025, in the Pantalone Funeral Home with Fr. Jeff Wylie, officiating.
Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
