Kiyoko Teller

Kiyoko "Miko" (Chinen) Teller, 75, of Pottstown, PA, wife of Robert J. Teller, died Friday January 27, 2023 at Pottstown Hospital Tower Health.
Born in Okinawa, Japan, she was a daughter of the late Koutoku Chinen and the late Mitsuko (Uezato) Chinen. She was raised by her step mother, Toyo Uezu.
Kiyoko graduated from Empire Beauty School. She was self employed and a very talented artist. She was proficient in the martial arts, and Okinawan Traditional Karate Dance.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one daughter, Naomi "Tina" wife of Wonsuk Cho, East Norriton; two sons, James A. Teller and his wife Missy, Pottstown; Scot Teller and his wife Jennifer, Leesport. One brother, Hideaki Chinen, three sisters, Akemi Nix; Rumi Akamine; Ayumi Nakasone; one step sister, Kazumi Williams. Grandchildren, Alex, Jason, Julian, Niko, Gabrielle, Nolan, Jagger, Jersi and step grandchildren Cody, Mikey. She was predeceased by her sister, Hiromi Akaishi.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
