Larry Braswell

Larry Eugene Braswell, 85, passed away on April 28, 2026, at his residence. He was born on January 23, 1941, in Anson County to the late Floyd William Braswell and Jannie Elizabeth Miles Braswell.
Larry graduated from Garinger High School and spent his early years growing up in the Wadesboro and Lilesville areas. Larry was a seafood and produce manager. It was on Lee Avenue in Charlotte where he met the love of his life, Betty, whom he was married to for nearly 64 years, celebrating their anniversary each year on June 23.
He had a passion for antique cars and a deep love for Elvis Presley’s music. Larry was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Indian Trail.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Betty Hinson Braswell; children, Donna (Jeff), Steven (Shea), Julie (Darrell); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Jonathan (Emily), Jackson (Miranda), Savanna, Sarah Jayne; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Claire, and Drake.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail with the service to begin at 11:00 AM.
