Lawrence E. Churchfield
November 2, 1948 – August 4, 2026 (Age 77)
Age 77 of Pitcairn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Born November 2, 1948 in Wilmerding, PA, he was the son of George and Alfreda (Keppal) Churchfield. Beloved husband of the late Marcia (Loffredo) Churchfield. Lawrence is survived by his loving daughter, Kara Rae Churchfield; and his niece, Gloria Peifer. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings.
For more than 30 years, Lawrence worked as a truck driver, traveling all over the United States and Canada and seeing much of the country from behind the wheel. He took pride in his work and understood the value of responsibility, perseverance, and long hours on the road.
Those who knew Lawrence will remember his great sense of humor and the way he always kept a good spirit. He had a natural ability to lighten the mood and bring a smile to others, even in ordinary moments.
Burial will be private at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
