Leonard M. Peklansky

Leonard M. Peklansky, Age 75, of Elizabeth Township, died Sunday, April 24, 2022. He was born February 10, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Ann Peklansky. He was a proud graduate of Slippery Rock College and was a retired employee of West Penn Testing, New Kensington. He enjoyed fishing and time spent with family. He was an animal lover and contributed to many charitable causes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Faye Peklansky. He is survived by his son, Brian M. Peklansky and his wife, Allison of Brookhaven, GA, and his granddaughter, Weston Peklansky. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway Ave., East McKeesport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the White Oak Animal Shelter or St. Jude Children's Research.
