Linda Andrews

Linda ANDREWS of Sidney, formerly of Fort Collins. Colorado, peacefully passed away on the evening of October 2, 2025 at the Pole Creek Estates nursing home in Sidney, Nebraska. She was 86 years of age.

Linda started her professional life as a school teacher in Zanesville, Ohio, teaching kids ranging in age from first grade to sixth grade. She then moved to California and began working for Bank of America, where she worked in various positions for 30 years before retiring. After she retired, she and her husband traveled the US in their RV, visiting family and friends, finally stopping in Fort Collins, Colorado, where her son and his family lived at the time.

She enjoyed her time reading, doing Bible studies and daily devotions. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, particularly her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Andy” Andrews, her brother, William Hartley; her parents Macyl “Pat” Roe and William Roe, her biological father Lester Hartley; and her great grandson Sage Banks. She is survived by her son, Matthew Smith of Sidney, Nebraska, and her grandchildren Alisson Smith of Pomona, California; Michael Smith of Apple Valley, California; Annalyn Smith of Ada, Oklahoma; Theodore Smith of Sidney, Nebraska; and Erika Smith of Sidney, Nebraska.

There will be no services. Her body will be cremated and her ashes will rest at the Zanesville Memorial Park in Zanesville, Ohio, next to those of her husband.
