Linda Carol Browning
March 21, 1948 - March 23, 2025 (Age 77)
Linda Carol Browning, 77, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 21, 1948, in Wheelwright, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Dorthy (Butler) Haley.
Linda dedicated over 20 years of service to the State of Ohio’s Department of Taxation before embracing the joys of retirement. She filled her days with the things that made her happiest—cherished gatherings with her dearest friends at “Ladies’ Lunch,” losing herself in a good book, piecing together puzzles, and traveling to new places with her family. She especially loved camping, creating treasured memories under the stars.
Above all, Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She embraced every moment as a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother. Their family home, affectionately known as "Browningville," was a place of warmth, laughter, and countless joyful moments—a testament to the deep love she nurtured within her family.
Linda’s kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. While she may have left this world, the light she brought into the lives of those around her will never fade.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
In addition to her parents she follows in death her daughter, Crystal Lynn Erick; grandson, Zachary Aaron; and sister, Barbara Sue McLaughlin.
Her memory lives on through her loving husband of 59 years, Zack Browning; sons, Zack “Jeff” (Roberta) Browning and Donny Ray (Sarah) Browning; grandchildren, Samantha (Heath) Julian, Autumn Erick, Amber Erick, Zack II Browning, Nathan Browning, Maranda (Cody) Holmes, Dustin Browning, and Riley Browning; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Trinity, Raven, Crystal, Zack, andrew, and Emma; siblings, Ruby (Larry) Knotts and Ralphy Haley; brothers-in-laws, Paul Tittle and Jim McLaughlin; son-in-law, Keith Erick; and numerous other loved ones, and friends.
