Linda Diane Foxx White, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend was born on August 25, 1955 to the late Willis B. Fox and Bessie Mae Foxx. On August 2, 2024 she transitioned peacefully from her home to be with the Lord. Linda was known for her sense of style, her love of shopping, and her dedication to her family and friends. Linda always brought joy and warmth to those around her. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister Linda was in a league all of her own. Her personality was truly one of a kind. Linda made it her mission to ensure her children and grandchildren had everything they needed, from the essentials to the little extras that showed how much she loved and cared for each of them. All who knew her will deeply miss her generosity and nurturing spirit. Linda was a graduate of Harper High School, Jackson AL. Upon graduating, marrying her dear husband, and moving to Charlotte, she worked many years as a Banquet Server Linda’s work ethic was unmatched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the times spent together. The memories of homecomings, and summers spent down south are forever etched into our hearts. Linda Diane Foxx White was preceded in death by her loving mother, Bessie Fox, son, Brian White, sister, Lucy Fox, in-laws William Sr. and Emma White, brother-in-laws, Johnny Pugh, Tommy Scott, Otis White, and William White Jr. Left to cherish her beautiful memory is her devoted husband of 51 years Edward White Sr., son Edward(Jerrell)White Jr., of Woodbridge, VA., daughters Pateria White and Ebony White both of Charlotte, NC., Grandchildren; Taylor White, Jaliah White, Camari Anthony, Camya Anthony, Evan White, Kyndall Wilkes, and Carson Harris. She also leaves to morn her untimely passing, her father Willis “Jody” Fox, four brothers Leroy (Mary) Williams of Detroit, MI, James Fox of Mobile, AL, Donald(Peggy)Fox of Fulton, AL and Willard Fox of Gainestown, AL., Eight sisters; Carolyn (Leroy)Cureton, Jaqulion Fox, Kathy Fox all of Charlotte, NC., Nellie(William)Burroughs, Bessie(Willie)Jackson, Lesia (Terry) Williams, Mamie Pugh, and Towonda (Patrick) McClain all of Gainestown, AL; Three sisters-in-law, Stellastine Lula Pearl White-El’AMIN, and Georgia (Jerry) Huston all of Jackson, AL., four brothers-in-law: Michael (Fannie) White, Carl (Wilhelmina) White, William (Jessie) Jackson, David (Sonya) Jackson all of Jackson, AL. Linda was immensely blessed to have such a large family. She is equally blessed with many dear friends, including Irene Stokes of Gainestown and Linda leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion.
