Lloyd A. Trout Jr.

Lloyd A. Trout, Jr., 88, Meyersdale died January 5, 2025 at his home. Born May 6, 1936 in Hunker, Westmoreland County to the late Reverend Lloyd A. and Thelma Jean (Steiner) Trout, Sr. Preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Mae (Romesburg) Trout. Siblings; Reverend Foster Trout, Melvin Trout, and Doris Higgins. Survived by his sisters; Wanda Plotner and Jeannie Sherman. Brother, Darrel Trout. Numerous family members and friends. Lloyd served in the National Guard, Company B 1BG/110th infantry. Lloyd learned the plaster trade from his father, and retired from Bender Shoe Factory. He was a member of the American Legion Post 112 in Meyersdale and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Erie#1801 Somerset. He was a long-term volunteer at the Meyersdale Senior Center. Lloyd loved fishing, collecting baseball cards, Pittsburgh Steelers when they won, bingo, puzzles, scratch off lottery tickets, and telling jokes.
