Loretta J. Yancoskie
January 31, 1931 – March 1, 2026 (Age 95)
Loretta Jean Geary Yancoskie, 95 of Rostraver Township, PA. passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Mon Valley Care Center.
She was born January 31, 1931 in Monessen, Pa., a daughter of the late George W Geary and Lillian McCahon Geary.
She was a 1949 graduate of Rostraver High School, a past member of the Washington Twp. Women's Auxillary and was a member of Holy Spirit Church in Fayette City. Loretta was an avid Penguins and Steelers fan and loved to cook and bake for her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, James (Linda) Hutchison of Rostraver Twp. as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 26 years, Joseph Yancoskie, son Donald (Ricky) Hutchison; son David Yancoskie, grandson Ricky Lee Hutchison and granddaughter Amber Yancoskie; sisters Eleanor Burke and Janice Francis; brothers Lawrence, James, Robert William and David Geary.
Friends will be received Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 4 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com
Additional viewing will be on Thursday from 9 to 10 am followed by a blessing service 10:00 am in the funeral home with Fr. Anthony Onoko officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA 15033.
