Loretta A. (Acalotto) Leriotis, 79, of Monroeville, died peacefully Friday, November 22, 2024, at her home. She was born August 15, 1945 in Greensburg Hospital, the daughter of the late Dominic and Aurora (Marsiglio) Acalotto and was also preceded in death by her brothers SSG Robert J. Acalotto who was MIA (declared deceased) from the Vietnam Conflict, Donald Acalotto, Ettore Acalotto and Dominic Acalotto. Loretta was a 1963 graduate of Norwin High School and met her husband Ted while working at Serro’s Diner. She received a cosmetology license and did hair and nails for many years. She was an active member of North American Martyrs Catholic Church, Monroeville, for many years until the church closed and then an active member of St. Regis Catholic Church, Trafford, where she served on the Street Fair committee. She was a past-president of the East Suburban Women’s Club helping to raise money for Forbes Regional Hospital. She was also active in the Foxwood/Eastgate community where she raised her family. She loved bowling, gardening, and reading, and was an excellent cook. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Theodore G. Leriotis; her daughters Lisa Blevins and her husband Al of Greensburg and Beth Clair and her husband Tim of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren Albert Blevins, Taylor Stillings (Chandler), Ryan Clair and Logan Clair; sisters-in-law Isabelle Acalotto, Felicia Acalotto and Anita Acalotto; also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 25, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, in St. Regis Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Irwin EMS.
