Lynda Gail Gardner

Lynda Gail Stansell Gardner, 86, of Mint Hill/Monroe, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 26, 1938, to Emma and Marvin Stansell.
Lynda was married to Donald Gardner for 37 years. Donald predeceased her in 1994. She was also predeceased by her parents; her brother, Gerrald Stansell; her grandson, DJ Dreibelbis; and her brother-in-law, Ken Jamison.
Lynda is survived by her son, Alan Gardner (Melissa); her daughter, Lou Gardner; her siblings, Larry Stansell (Kay), Kenneth Stansell (Pamela), Vickie Jamison; her granddaughters, MacKenzie Gardner, Christine Campbell, and great granddaughter, Hartleigh Campbell.
Lynda was a long standing member of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill, North Carolina, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and other charities.
The family would like to express its thanks and great appreciation to Lynda’s caregiver, Amanda Sanford of Bayada, for her help with Lynda over the past couple of years. We would also like to thank VIA Health Partners hospice care for their care of Lynda in the past month.
A private burial will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 12:00pm, at Sunset Memory Gardens officiated by Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
