Margaret Bucciaglia
May 16, 1940 - February 4, 2024 (Age 83)
Margaret (McHugh) Bucciaglia, 83, wife of Joseph “Jack” Bucciaglia, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She and Jack shared 62 years of marriage.
She was a daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Mundy) McHugh.
Born in Coaldale and raised in Summit Hill, PA, she was a graduate of Marian High School. She was selected to attend Saint Francis Hospital in Trenton, where she studied to be a phlebotomist. She worked at Pottstown Hospital and later for Doctors Lupas, Henwood, and Detar. She retired to help raise her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and word searches. She was very active in her church.
Along with her husband, Margaret is survived by her children: Maria Boyer (Steven), Jim Bucciaglia (Denise), Cristin Bucciaglia, siblings, Frances Owens, Regina McHugh, sister-in-law, Lori LaRosa (Pete), grandchildren: Katelyn Blackburn (Christopher), Thomas Bucciaglia (Kelsey Williar), Tyler Boyer, and two great grandchildren, Braden Blackburn, and Cecilia Blackburn.
The family would like to thank the ladies of Comfort Keepers Reading and Chestnut Knoll who have taken such wonderful care of Margie, as well as supporting Jack, these past few years. Also, cannot say thank you enough to the staff of Caring Hospice, who came in when they needed help the most and provided them with that and more, this past month.
Margaret is predeceased by a sister, MaryAnn Gulla.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, Stowe at 11:30 a.m. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. at the Church. A eulogy will be read in Margaret's honor prior to Mass.
Inurnment will be private and at a later date.
