Margaret Jamison

Margaret Jane “Peg” Jones Jamison, 91, of South Greensburg, died, Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in Brookdale, Latrobe. She was born in South Greensburg on January 14, 1931, a daughter of the late James S. and Esther L. Coughenour Jones. She was a member of South Greensburg United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Women’s Society, Adult Fellowship and church choir. She was also a Sunday school teacher and involved with the camping group Ten-Tra-Hi. Prior to retirement, she worked as a salesperson for Kmart. Peg loved to cook, bake and do crafts. She and her husband enjoyed spending their winters in Frostproof, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Thomas W. Jamison; sister, Kathleen Horrell (Bill); sister-in-law, June Jones. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Bridge (Larry), Tom Jamison (Chris), Cindy Homer (Gary) and Tim Jamison (Jenny); brother, William Jones; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Peg will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 11, 2022 in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg, PA.
