Margaret Marie McGraw, 86, of Cumberland, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at UPMC-Western Maryland.
Born October 6, 1938, in Cumberland, MD, Margaret was the daughter of the late Basil Marks and Olive Pearl (Twigg) Marks. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years: Robert “Bob” James McGraw, Sr.; her great-grandsons: Austin and Nathan Slider; and her brother: James Marks.
Margaret was a graduate of Flintstone High School, and retired from the Fruit Bowl. Her main focus in life was her family, especially her children.
Margaret is survived by her children: Robert McGraw, Jr. and wife Madie; Rick McGraw and wife Tracy; Vickie Cornwell and husband Eugene; and Carole McGraw McCoy; her grandchildren: Tonya Bender (Billy), Jamie Slider (Bobby), Tara McGraw, Whitney Nau (Mike), Trisha McGraw, Jessica Frost (Jay), Jordan McGraw, Shane McGraw, and Olivia McCoy; and her great-grandchildren: Alex Keister, Oliver and Beatrice Nau; Kingsley McGraw, and Aizen and Amelia Frost.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Dan Twigg officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
