Maria Concha

Maria Angela Ramirez de Concha, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday June 21, 2025. Services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, June 28 th , 2025, at Flint Groves Baptist Church in Gastonia, with burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. M. Angela was born October 1 st , 1951 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico to the late Eduardo Ramirez Baeza and Isaura Medina Gomez. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eduardo Ramirez and her sister Juanita Ramirez de Chan.

She leaves behind an amazing legacy, she was a devoted servant woman of God, loving wife, beloved mother and the best Chichi ever to her own grandchildren and countless adopted “nietos”.

She had a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, that inspired her to serve and share the gospel with anyone who crossed her path. She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh, smile and her joy and trust in the Lord that radiated in her life. She had a heart full of love for those who were hers and made room in her heart for so many others. If there was something she felt that needed to be said or a nugget of wisdom or just some encouragement, she would come close to you and look you in your eyes and you could feel the sincerity in her words.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Hernildo Tommy Concha. Their love was a true example of how God designed a marriage to be. The love they had for one another was a true testimony of unconditional love. He lovingly supported her as her health declined and she remained steadfast in her faith. They lived a life of ministry and service to the Lord. Alongside her husband, they planted several Spanish Speaking Missions and Churches all around North Carolina and helped found La Voz de la Esperanza in Charlotte, NC and El Buen Pastor in Monroe.

Her children I. Marybel (David), Angela (Jose Manuel), and Gloria (Walter).

Siblings, Isaura, Alejandro, Jose and Margarita.

Her grandchildren, T, Eli, Madison, Rina, Angelo, Cetti, Idalia and W. Josue.

Her desire would continue to be for everyone to know Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flint Groves Baptist Church, Attn Hispanic Ministry-In memory of Angela Concha at 2017 E. Ozark Ave, Gastonia, NC 28054- and will be disbursed to the following ministries: Son Raise Missionary Services (Camp Porvenir-Mexico), El Buen Pastor Mexico, Vine and Branches Ministries and Urban Promise Charlotte.

María Ángela Ramírez de Concha, de 73 años, fue a estar con su Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo, el sábado 21 de junio de 2025. Los servicios para celebrar su vida se llevarán a cabo el sábado 28 de junio de 2025, en la Iglesia Bautista Flint Groves en Gastonia, con el entierro que seguirá en los Jardines de la Memoria Sunset, en Charlotte, NC. La familia recibirá amigos a partir de las 10:00 am. M. Ángela nació el 1 de octubre de 1951 en Mérida, Yucatán, México, hija del difunto Eduardo Ramírez Baeza y de Isaura Medina Gómez. También le precedieron en la muerte su hermano, Eduardo Ramírez, y su hermana Juanita Ramírez de Chan.

Ella deja un legado impresionante, fue una mujer sierva devota de Dios, esposa amorosa, madre querida y la mejor Chichi para sus propios nietos y muchos “nietos” adoptados.

Tenía una relación personal e íntima con Jesucristo, que la inspiró a servir y compartir el evangelio con cualquiera que cruzara su camino. Siempre será recordada por su risa contagiosa, su sonrisa y su gozo y confianza en el Señor que irradiaba en su vida.

Tenía un corazón lleno de amor por los que eran suyos y hacía espacio en su corazón para muchos otros. Si había algo que sentía que necesitaba ser dicho o una lección de sabiduría o simplemente un poco de ánimo, se acercaba a ti y te miraba a los ojos y podías sentir la sinceridad en sus palabras.

Le sobrevive su amado y devoto esposo durante 56 años, Hernildo Tommy Concha. Su amor fue un verdadero ejemplo de cómo Dios diseñó el matrimonio. El amor que tenían el uno por el otro fue un verdadero testimonio de amor incondicional. Él la apoyó cariñosamente mientras su salud declinaba y ella se mantuvo firme en su fe. Vivieron una vida de ministerio y servicio al Señor. Junto a su esposo, plantaron varias Misiones y Iglesias Hispanas en todo Carolina del Norte y ayudaron a fundar La Voz de la Esperanza en Charlotte, NC y El Buen Pastor en Monroe.

Sus hijos I. Marybel (David), Angela (Jose Manuel) y Gloria (Walter). Hermanos, Isaura, Alejandro, José y Margarita.

Sus nietos, T, Eli, Madison, Rina, Angelo, Cetti, Idalia y W. Josué.

Su deseo seguiría siendo que todos conocieran a Cristo como su propio Señor y Salvador personal.
