Marilyn M. Davidson
May 9, 1933 - December 25, 2025 (Age 92)
Marilyn Mae Davidson, 92, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert Muehleisen and Gladys (Douglas) Muehleisen.
She graduated from East Hempfield High School class of 1951. Marilyn retired as the Director of Special Events at Franklin & Marshall College. Following retirement, she was a volunteer with the Pennsylvania Academy of Music. She was an active member of Salem United Church of Christ in Rohrerstown, PA, and the Hempfield Women’s Club.
Marilyn will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Diane Alwine, wife of James; her son, John Davidson, husband of Patricia Peifer; and her three grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Samuel Davidson; her siblings, Albert Muehleisen, Lois Shaeffer, Larry Muehleisen, and Jeanne Klein.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 West Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Road, Lancaster, PA.
