Marjorie K. Cessna
October 1, 1930 - April 19, 2025 (Age 94)
Marjorie "Peg" K. Cessna, 94, of Everett, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Pennknoll Village, Everett.
Peg was born in Bedford on October 1, 1930, daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline (Morgart) Welsh.
On December 5, 1948, she married her husband Robert A. Cessna, who preceded her in death on February 3, 2007.
She is survived by daughter- Cathy wife of Jesse Hafer, of Everett; daughter- Cheryl wife of Douglas Askew, of Thornton, CO; two grandchildren: Sarah Chizek (Christian Munoz) and Luke Askew (Jessica); along with four great-grandchildren: Archer Chizek, Lewis, Jane, and Josephine Askew; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Peg was a member of Friends Cove United Church of Christ.
She worked as a waitress all her life at Upper and Lower Dairy Dells, of Bedford and the Bedford Springs Hotel. She was an excellent seamstress who did alterations for many family and friends.
At the request of Marjorie there will be no services.
Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Courtyard and Pennknoll Village for the care they had for Marjorie.
