Mark Joseph Freidhof

Mark Joseph Freidhof, 61, of Larimer, passed away peacefully, March 4, 2025, at home. He was born January 17, 1964, in Jeannette a son of Esther (Barci) Freidhof and the late Joseph Francis Freidhof.
A 1982 graduate of Norwin High School, Mark committed to serving his country by joining the United States Marine Corps. His commitment to service and discipline carried him through a successful career as a corrections officer. He also had worked as a journeyman machinist.
In his free time, Mark enjoyed weight lifting, hunting, fishing, and shooting skeet, often sharing these activities with his nephews. These were some of the hobbies he cherished most.
In addition to his loving mother he is survived by his siblings, Eric Freidhof, Gregory (Renee) Freidhof, and Michele (Michael) Doshen. He will also be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Ashley (Michael) Ament, Justin (Capri) Freidhof, Joshua (Staci) Freidhof, Jacob (Alexandra) Freidhof, Abigail (Tyler) Burke, Derek (Amy) Gongaware, Dean Doshen, Bradley (Shauna) Doshen, and Morgan Doshen. His great-nieces and nephews, Anslee, Ayla, Knox, Gracie, Millie, Riley, Maya, Clara, Grace and Thomas, brought light and love into his life.
Mark was known for his loyalty and love he had for his family. His legacy of service and dedication to those around him will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 14, in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
