Marlene G. Wagner

Marlene G. (Ahlborn) Wagner 78 of Hunker passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Exela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Marlene was born February 9,1944 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late William H. Ahlborn and Lucille M. (Loucks) Ahlborn. She was a 1962 graduate of Hempfield High School. She loved to travel to Ocean Isle Beach NC, Myrtle Beach, SC and go on cruises. Her family was always first and most important. She was a great cook and loved the holiday dinners with her family gathered around her table. She attended all of the grandchildren’s activities and sporting events, and loved sharing her childhood memories and traditions with them. Surviving is her husband, Ronald L. Wagner; children, William R. Wagner (Kerry), Diane M. Sample (Ken) and Alan R. Wagner; grandchildren, Laura Wagner (Danny Lawrence), Russell Wagner (Rachel), William Baird (Danielle), Taylor Hartman (Matt), Stacie Sample, Jared A. Wagner and Jonathan W. Wagner; great grandchildren, Peyton Renee Lawrence and Gage Eugene Hartman. In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her brother Larry G. Ahlborn and his infant twin brother, Barry Ahlborn. At the request of Marlene, a closed casket visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. MAIN STREET MT. PLEASANT where services will be held at 10:30am Monday with Rev. Dale Porterfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery, Greensburg.
