Rock Hill, SC – Martha J. McDaniel, 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at her home.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm-5:30 pm on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, 620 S. Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mrs. McDaniel was the daughter of the late Ernest Randolph Jones and the late Evelyn Payne Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe McDaniel. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. They enjoyed having meals together, particularly Sunday dinners. She and her husband had a vacation home at the beach where she loved being with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. McDaniel was a longtime member of Catawba Methodist Church.
Surviving are her three daughters, Angie Freeman, Amy Flowers (Robert), and Amanda Pittman (Mike); her eight grandchildren, Joey Owings, Patrick Owings, Lauren Rhom (Matthew), Haley Pittman (Peyton Campbell); Jimmy Freeman (Daisy Gibson), Will Flowers, Austin Pittman (Kaia Moon); and Erin Flowers; and two great-grandsons, Bennett Campbell and Coltton Freeman.
