Martha McGlade

Martha "Marty" R. McGlade, 85 of Zanesville died at 12:11 PM Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Helen Purcell Home under hospice care.
She was born on Saturday, November 19, 1938 in Duncan Falls, Ohio the daughter of Chester Miller and Mary Eppley Miller.
Marty was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Roseville and retired in 1989 after 30 years service as an operator for the Ohio Bell / AT& T Telephone Company. She was also a member of the VFW & the Eagles where she enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James E. McGlade whom she married January 10, 1969; a son, Jaysen McGlade; a grandson, Jagger McGlade; stepchildren, James E. McGlade Jr., Terry (Pam) McGlade, Linda McGlade, Rick (Mary) McGlade; numerous step-grandchildren; a sister, Marcella Wise. Marty was preceded in death by Parents, stepson, Randy McGlade; siblings, Walter Miller, Betty Whitmire & Mabel Whitmire; and a brother-in-law, Wayne Wise.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with funeral service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Orlen Bates Jr. officiating. Entombment will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
