Martin Kennel
March 29, 1940 - September 30, 2024 (Age 84)
Martin L. “Bud” Kennel, 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday September 30, 2024 at Hempfield Manor. Mr. Kennel was born March 29, 1940 in Wyano to the late Kenneth Kennel and Geraldine King.
Martin proudly serviced his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a laborer for various construction companies in the area. He enjoyed going to car shows and showing off his 1965 Ford Mustang. Bud also enjoyed old country music and tinkering in his garage.
Martin is survived by his loving family, his daughters, Kelly Sirianna (Mike), Melinda Kennel (Jeff), and Robin Szolek (Mike); his grandchildren, Justine Wilson (Shawn), and Michael Sirianna (Shalyn); his great-grandchildren, Kinleigh, Casen, Weston, and Zander; and his faithful canine companion, Maggie. In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda S. Greenawalt Kennel; and his brother, Norman King.
In honoring Bud’s wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. All Services will be private.
