Marvin G. Leigh, age 92, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Columbus, OH. Marvin was born January 17, 1930 in Buchanan, WV to the late George Washington and Lula Mae Leigh. Marvin proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Groveport Madison Schools after many years of service as a custodian and bus driver. Marvin is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Mary; daughter, Rebecca Ludwig; and 3 sisters. He is survived by his children, April (Tom) Currey, Shelley (Sam) Leigh, Colleen (Steve) Berry, Deborah (Chris) Lemley, and David (Amy) Leigh; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St. in Groveport, OH, where funeral service will be Friday, 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
