Mary Ann Steiner

Mary Ann “Midge” (Antonich) Steiner, 93, of Irwin, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 13, 1930 in McCullough, PA. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Hrvatin) Antonich. She graduated from Norwin High School and went on to work at Westinghouse as an assembly line worker. Later in life, she worked at Vargo’s Hallmark store. Mary was a lifetime member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Herminie, PA. She enjoyed puzzles, cutting grass, watching game shows, and listening to old country music. Mary enjoyed canning peach jelly and tomato sauce with her daughter and was a great baker. Mary loved visiting Horseshoe Curve in Altoona, PA with her family to watch the trains go by on the three-track railroad curve. She loved to sit outside on her back porch swing and enjoy the outdoors. She is preceded in death by both parents; loving husband of 67 years, Lawrence Steiner Sr.; brothers, George, Rudy and Joseph Antonich and sister, Margaret Antonich. She is survived by daughter, Wendy (Wayne) Marie Rambler; son, Larry J. (Debbie) Steiner Jr. of N. Huntingdon, PA and loving companion, Jaxon, her Bermese Mountain dog. Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc.
