Mary L. Guillory

Mary L (Martinez) Guillory, 87, formerly of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Monday September 14, 2026. She was born August 24, 1939 in Beaumont Texas, to the late Santos and Soila (Guadiano) Martinez. Mary worked for many years as a merchandiser at J.C. Penny in Lower Burrell and at The Mills in Tarentum. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church in Lower Burrell. Mary was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, flea markets, antique shops and bowling in the J.C. Penny bowling. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Atlantic City and delighted in watching her grandchildren grow. Mary is survived by her children Laurie (Dr. Dana) Brown of Pittsburgh, David (Tara) of West Virginia, and Ken (Carrie) of Indiana. Her grandchildren Ben, Ian, Lucas, Justin, Seth (Rebecca Lauren) Brayden, Owyn,Bella, and Kaelyn. Siblings Joseph, Jesse, Frank and Linda all of Texas. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Guillory and her eldest son Robert W. Guillory.

Friends will be received on Monday September 21 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a blessing service 12:00 noon in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522, Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation for Woodside Place of Oakmont, 1215 Hulton Road, Oakmont, Pa. 15139.
