Mary Ruth Mock
July 6, 1928 - July 29, 2022 (Age 94)
Mary Ruth Mock, 94, of Zanesville, died at 10:10 P.M. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Brookdale, Zanesville, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Adamsville, on July 6, 1928 a daughter of the late Harold and Anna Louise Minner Green. She worked as a patient representative for over twenty years at Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville. Mary enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, NASCAR especially #2 Rusty Wallace, her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events and loved her flowers. She was a member of the Child Conversation League and Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah (William) Howard; two sons, Jeffrey (Mitzi) Mock and Robert (Norma) Mock; ten grandchildren, Erica (Shawn) Jones, Kristy (Justin) Meddings, Kimberly (Colin) Truemper, Jodi Wolfe, Lori (Matt) Kreis, Kensie and Kaustin Mock, Alexandria, Marissa and Johnathon Mock; twelve great- grandchildren, Eric and Jeffery Ours, Dakota and Rhett Jones, Koen and Kaley Meddings, Kyle Khune, Hayli Scott, Liam Wolfe, Braxtyn Mock, Declan and Carter Truemper; a great-great granddaughter, Oakley Jones; and many nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, John G. Mock who died on October 9, 2012; a son, Gregory Mock; a daughter in law, Heather Mock; and two sisters, Eva Moorehead and Anna Rose Ross.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Karen Montgomery officiating. Mary Ruth will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband John at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
