Mary Smith

Mary Smith, age 87, of Donora, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born June 19, 1937 in Donora, PA the daughter of the late Michael Andras and the late Elizabeth Zulcak Andras.
Mary was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare as a clerical supervisor. She retired with 30 years of service.
She was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, the Ladies of Charity, the Christian Mothers and Women's Guild and the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary.
Mary enjoyed camping at her trailer near Blairsville PA. She also liked to travel with her travel club and frequented the Amish Country in Walnut Creek, OH.
In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Smith; two sisters, Mildred Andras and Helen Balluch; and four brothers, Joseph, Michael, John, and Stephen Andras.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her three daughters Judith (Patrick) Weiner of Donora, Janice (Kerry) McCorkle of Charleroi and Jayne Smith of NY; son Joseph (Terri) Smith of Monessen; eight grandchildren, Marcus Weiner, David Weiner, Tiffany Sisson, Kerry McCorkle Jr,, Michael Smith, Elise, Marlaina and Aaron Smith; and two great grandchildren, Viviv and Brody Sisson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, September 6, 2024. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday September 7, 2024 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Campus at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Kadlick as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
