Megan Nicole LaGratta, 33, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at UPMC Western Maryland after a long battle with cancer.
Born September 21, 1990, in Cumberland, MD, Megan was the daughter of Tina (Saathoff) Courtney and husband, Howie; and the late James LaGratta, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Janet Saathoff; maternal grandfather: J.R. Junkins; and paternal grandfather: James LaGratta, Sr.
Megan was formerly employed at Justice, Zales, J&S Pawn, and most recently, Starbucks. Megan’s life revolved around her children, and attending all their dances, games, and activities as long as she was able.
Besides her mother, Megan is survived by her children: Bryson, Aubrey, and Camden Werner; her stepmother: Debbie Webb and husband, Randy; her siblings: Christian Harmon and wife, Melissa: Taylor LaGratta and Jake; Nicholas LaGratta and Kayla; James LaGratta, III and Baili; and Jonathan Webb; her maternal grandfather: Royce Saathoff; her grandmother: Cathy Junkins; her paternal grandmother: Ina LaGratta; her grandmother: Telva Courtney; and her special cousin who was like her sister: Mariah Iliff; as well as numerous other family members.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Bruce McBride officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Garden.
