Michael Ray Slone

Michael Ray Slone, age 62, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, sadly left us on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Mike enjoyed many sports and was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats, the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cincinnati Reds. Mike also enjoyed playing golf, attending concerts (like The Rolling Stones and other classic rock bands), but nothing compared to time spent with family and friends.

He worked diligently at Engineered Profiles for 44 years, achieving many professional successes and retired in April 2024.

Mike is survived by his high school sweetheart and partner, Mary Ann Megimose-McClay, Canal Winchester; daughters Melissa Slone and Mikayla Slone (Saquan Staples); mother, Wilma Strohmeyer (Richard Strohmeyer); granddaughters, Avery, and Skyla Slone-Staples; brother, Rocky Slone (Lorraine Slone); niece, Caitlyn Michalski; aunt, Mandy Chadwick, and Ryan McClay. Preceded in death by father, Charlie Slone.

A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 26th at Dwayne Spence Funeral Home located at 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio.

A funeral service will be held in Mike’s honor at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 28th at 11:00 am at Dwayne Spence Funeral Home.

Immediately after the funeral, the burial service will be held at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens at 5082 Elder Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio.
