Michael Strunack
September 7, 1962 - March 1, 2024 (Age 61)
Michael J. Strunack, 61, of Altoona, formerly of Pottstown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday.
He was born in Pottstown, PA and was the son of the late Calvin Michael and Doris LaRue (Reese) Strunack.
Michael is survived by: his sons Michael J. Strunack, Jr. and Devon Strunack; and his sister, Cindy Powanda (Thomas).
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sisters, Sherry L Davidson and Tammy L. Klotzbach; and his grandparents, John and Marion Reese.
Michael spent 27 years as a maintenance mechanic for the Methacton School District, and spent the last ten years serving at The Good Funeral Home, Inc. as a funeral assistant.
He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, and loved riding his motorcycle. Michael’s greatest gift was serving people. He took such joy in helping others, and was always there to lend a helping hand to someone in need.
Michael will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
A public visitation will be held for Michael on Friday, March 8th from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM funeral service at Morningstar Fellowship, 100 Limekiln Rd, Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Pastor Chad Stoecker officiating. Internment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
