Miguel Uribe

Miguel A. Uribe, 95, of Lancaster, passed away on August 4, 2025, in his residence.
Born in Colombia, he was the son of the late Domingo de Jesus and Rosa M. (Ochoa) Uribe.
He was the husband of the late Maria Celina (Ochoa) Uribe, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage until the time of her passing in 1991.
He was employed by the former Sperry New Holland in the security department for many years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and formerly attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Throughout his life he was a textile mechanic and a dedicated firefighter who found joy in simple pleasures- reading, fishing and listening to music.
Miguel is survived by his children, Rose M. Jones partner of Arthur Jones, Doris Uribe, Luis M. Uribe husband of Luz E. (Perez) and Carlos M. Uribe husband of Hilda (Saldarriaga), grandchildren, Natalie, Kathryn, Stephanie, Adrian, Luis, Marco, Andrea, Sebastian and Daniela, great grandchildren, Isabella, Celina, Bianca, Desmond, Damon, Selina, Fabian, Elena, Rosendo, Lou and Luciana. Also surviving are his half siblings, Maria, Piedad, Gladys and Girlesa.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Uribe, siblings, Matilde, Hernando and Jesus, his mother-in-law, Leonor Restrepo and two half-brothers.
A Mass will be scheduled at a later date at the convenience of the family. Interment in Memory Gardens.
